b. Enter the OTP received in your mobile.
And you are now logged in. As a first time user, you will be asked to enter your name, pick an avatar and few other information depending on whether you are joining as an advisor or consumer
In SpiConn’s terms, a ‘Consumer’ is one who connects to registered experts in the platform from different companies or industries with expertise in their respective fields.
An ‘Advisor’ in an expert in their field with a minimum level of expertise who can guide others with any queries regarding their company, field of expertise etc.
For any person to register as a User or Consumer in SpiConn, it is sufficient to enter their mobile number and name.
Other details like current work profile, email id, linkedin id, location etc are additional details which they may or may not choose to register.
It is mandatory for an ‘Advisor’ to enter their Profile details:-
Yes, definitely. A ‘Consumer’ might seek knowledge or advice in a specific field while being an expert win another field. In that case the consumer can sign up as an Advisor by providing necessary information for being an Advisor and can start helping other users.
Yes. An advisor can contact any other advisor registered in the platform to clarify any of his queries.
As you are logged in to the app, the home page is a Search page where you can locate an expert based on:-
-Company Name
-Role/Designation of the Expert you want help from
-Industry
There are a few ways to contact an Advisor
- Send and receive Messages
- Schedule a call with the advisor and contact them in the accepted time slot
- You have an option to make an audio / video call with the advisor.(Its preferable to get advisor’s consent through message before placing a video call.)
- Instant Call with advisor if the advisor has chosen the feature
The expert decides the amount they charge to reply back to your message or for the call on per 3 minute basis. It is fee they charge to provide their services. The cost of the chat messaging is for one entire conversation. Call costs are prorated to the second you talk to the advisor.
Payments are handled by Razorpay and they allow you to pay with credit card, debit card, net banking ,UPI .
To pay for a call or a message, you need enough credits in your account.
Go to the My Wallet section of the app and use the option ‘Add Credits’ to add money to your wallet.
You need enough credits in your wallet to place a call or to send a message.
Message cost will be deducted temporarily from your wallet once you send a message . It will be deducted permanently only after the advisor replies and the conversation ends.
To place a call you need enough credits in your wallet . Amount will be deducted at the end of the call depending on the fee set by advisor and time taken for the call.
In detailed Profile Screen of the chosen advisor , you have a ‘Schedule Call ‘ option.
Your inbox will display the pending schedule requests and accepted time slot from the advisor, once the advisor accepts the invite. And it is the consumer who must initiate a call to the advisor at that time slot with the ‘Call Now’ option from your Inbox at the accepted time slot.
You will have an option to send the reason for the call. Advisor will be notified of the missed call and get a message with the reason for the call. You may try again after few minutes
Advisors are verified of their basic details entered by them. But it’s at the user’s discretion to connect with the advisor. But the user always has the advantage to rate the advisor based on the quality of call or message services offered by them. The ratings will eventually determine the trustability of the advisor.
Yes, you are allowed to send messages or connect with more than 1 advisor . But each call/message will be charged on the corresponding advisor’s set fees.
Once you miss to call the advisor at the intended time slot, you will have to redo the schedule appointment process and wait for their reply to connect with them.
You can answer any job related queries arisen by a SpiConn consumer at the discretion of your company policies. You are not entitled to reveal any confidential company related information . Their queries could be basic ,just to know about the work culture of your company to scheduling a mock interview with you as well. It is in your discretion to accept the request or reject it.
It is totally your right fit to see if you are available just to reply to the messages sent or take a call and speak with the person directly. These choices must be entered by you in the ‘Connect’ section of your profile.
If you set on the messaging fee, it shows that you are ready to respond to messages.
If you set your availability days in the week and time slots for the call, it means you ready to answer calls.
But it is essential to fill in at least one of the two ways of communication to become a SpiConn Advisor.
You will have a notification on your mobile when you receive a message in your inbox. It is advisable to reply within a day or two at the max for your reply to help the consumer. Consumer also has an option to close the conversation as "not answered" before you respond. In such cases you will not be paid for the reply sent by you.
No, since SpiConn charges consumer for the call, we expect the consumer to initate the conversation. You just have to accept one of the available time slots requested by the consumer, which will work out for you. If all 3 options requested by a consumer doesn’t work for you, you can reject the request and give a reason for rejecting the call.
Only the consumer will initiate a call at the time slot that you have accepted and you will have to answer his call.
Messaging and Call fee are set by you totally based on your experience and the service you can provide. We give you suggestions based on average fee set by other advisors only. But the decision for the fee will be yours.
The consumer pays the total amount set by you. But the amount that will be credited to your wallet will be after the deductions for service charges of the app platform and/or payment gateway fees.
There is a Withdraw Option in ‘My wallet’ section of the app. You can use that option and go through payment gateway to transfer the money to your account.
